She completed her Master of Arts in Speech Communications at West Chester University and is currently certified and licensed in both PA and Florida. She has been an innovative passionate therapist practicing since 2003 in a variety of settings including hospitals, rehab clinics, ENT offices and long-term care facilities. In 2019, Jody embarked on an opportunity to support and advocate for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. She was invited to speak at the State Capital as well as the Capital in Washington D.C. advocating for policy reform for children over the age of 21. Dr. Dictenberg is a scientist, innovator, investor and entrepreneur, and a global figure in molecular neuroscience and RNA biology, and has more than 20 years operating experience in biotechnology and academia. Dr. Assad J. Kazeminy, Ph.D., is the founder and former CEO of Irvine Pharmaceutical Services Inc. and Avrio Biopharmaceutical LLC. Currently on Board of Directors for UCI Health and the board member of Dean’s Leadership Council at UCI School of Pharmaceutical Science. He founded those companies in 1988 and 2008. Ed is the founder Tony's son, his best friend and the inspiration behind EduPal (the Ed in EduPal). Growing up with ADHD, mental challenges and dual-diagnosis, Ed was addicted to Meth at age 13. Diagnosed with Schizophrenia at age 19, Ed ran away from home many times and became homeless, eventually ending up at Skid Rowe in LA. Struggling with the disease, Ed inspired his parents by continuing his education, working with his grand parents to obtain his GED.
Ed was a typical boy playing basketball, soccer and especially playing interactive games, wanting to be a Game Designer. He is the son of Dr. Brett Shurman board-certifications in adult psychiatry and addiction medicine, treating a broad range of psychiatric disorders with psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.
